cnWave is Cambium's 60 GHz millimeter-wave fixed wireless product family, built on Meta's Terragraph technology. It delivers multi-gigabit throughput over line-of-sight links, typically 300 meters to 1 km per hop, as a lower-cost alternative to trenching fiber.

What's the difference between V1000, V3000, and V5000?

The V5000 is the distribution node (1-to-many sector, think PMP AP). V3000 is the high-capacity client node (up to 3 Gbps throughput, mid-range). V2000 is a lower-cost client node. V1000 is the smallest integrated home/SMB client unit.

Is cnWave 60 GHz unlicensed?

Yes — 60 GHz operates in globally unlicensed spectrum (57–71 GHz in the U.S.). No spectrum license fees, and interference is minimal thanks to narrow beams and atmospheric absorption.
